The Blue Colts beat Singapore 3-0 in the opening friendly, played three days earlier, and will look to replicate that performance in the second meeting. Mahesh Gawali and his players have signalled an intention to play their normal brand of football as they seek a second victory in the tie.

The report says Singapore U-20 must be more focused on defensive shape after the first game. Singapore are described as usually well organised defensively, defending as a unit and attempting to close down spaces while using forward runs in attack. The same report added that India did not show their attribute in the first game and will look to get a win over the hosts.
