The India U17 men’s national team will play Myanmar at the StarCity Sports Club in Thanlyin on October 4 as they begin a two-match friendly series ahead of the AFC U17 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2027 Qualifiers; kick-off is scheduled for 2 PM IST.
Mehrajuddin Wadoo is coaching the India U17 side, known as the Blue Colts, who started a preparatory camp in Margao, Goa, in September. Wadoo has named a 22-player squad for the two matches. The teams will meet again at the same venue on October 7 and both fixtures will be played behind closed doors.

India continue to build towards the qualifiers in November with these friendlies serving as international preparation. The upcoming matches will give Wadoo an opportunity to assess his squad and work on different aspects of the team’s game before the qualifiers in November.
India have been placed in Group E of the AFC U17 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2027 Qualifiers alongside hosts Malaysia, Palestine, Singapore and Guam. The qualifiers will take place in Kuala Lumpur from November 11 to 20.
India will begin their qualifying campaign against Singapore on November 11, face Guam on November 14, play Palestine on November 17 and complete their group-stage programme against hosts Malaysia on November 20.
