India will meet Pakistan in the Asian Games 2026 men's cricket final at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin on October 3, with the match scheduled to start at 10 AM IST.

Japan Meteorological Agency and AccuWeather forecasts suggest conditions likely sufficient for a full game. India reached the final after Shreyas Iyer and his men hammered Sri Lanka by 124 runs in the second semi-final, with Ishan Kishan and the bowlers providing India an easy win. Pakistan will field what the report described as a second-string side, and the preview noted Pakistan have not beaten India in T20Is since 2022.

Before the semifinal round six games, including four quarterfinal matches, were washed out, but the forecast for the semifinals was described as pretty good. The same report said the weather outlook for the forthcoming India–Pakistan final is encouraging for a complete contest. The match-up was also noted as one that brings significant pressure.

The Japan Meteorological Agency predicts partly cloudy conditions on Saturday afternoon in Nisshin and places the chance of rain at 10–20 percent in the morning. According to the report, the weather is expected to clear by the afternoon. The preview added that, even if there are passing showers in the morning, there should be enough time for the match to conclude.

AccuWeather provided temperature and atmospheric details, forecasting a maximum of 24°C and a minimum of 17°C. The report gave humidity between 60 and 70 percent and indicated wind speeds of around 15 kmph. Those figures were presented alongside the JMA outlook to support the view that a full game is likely.

The report cautioned that, if the final is washed out, the gold medal will be shared. It recalled that in the final of the last edition India, based on rankings, won the gold after the final against Afghanistan was washed out. The preview also mentioned the pitch situation and Pakistan’s spin unit as factors that could affect the contest.

The India–Pakistan final is confirmed for October 3, 2026, at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin with a 10 AM IST start; the weather forecasts cited aim to allow for a full match and outline the conditions players and officials will face.
