India v Uruguay tickets cut to Rs 199 after empty seats at Brazil match

Organisers have cut ticket prices for the upcoming India v Uruguay friendly in Kolkata from Rs 1,999 to Rs 199 for select seats, according to a Times of India report published on October 5, 2026.
The move follows a lacklustre turnout for the Brazil match that left many seats empty, and organisers will distribute around 22,000 complimentary tickets to spectators from a recent event, aiming for a more festive atmosphere at the Kolkata clash.
