Indian chess team housed in Samarkand after AICF intervention at Olympiad

Upon their arrival in Samarkand for the Olympiad, India's chess team experienced a delay in hotel accommodations caused by miscommunication from the local organizing committee.

All India Chess Federation president Nitin Narang intervened and contacted FIDE to resolve the issue.

Players are now settled in individual rooms while coaches are sharing rooms.
