Inter Kashi to host Odisha at Balewadi in ISL on Oct. 17, 2026
Inter Kashi FC will host Odisha FC at the Balewadi Stadium in Pune on 17 October 2026 in the Indian Super League 2026-27, with kick-off scheduled for 5 PM IST. Both sides arrive having lost in match-week 1: Inter Kashi were beaten 2-0 by Kerala Blasters and Odisha conceded a last-minute winner to Punjab FC at the JLN in New Delhi.
The upcoming fixture will be only the third meeting between the clubs, following encounters in the 2024 AIFF Super Cup and the 2025-26 ISL season. Odisha have one victory and one draw from the two previous meetings; Inter Kashi are yet to record a win against the Juggernauts. Inter Kashi’s 2-0 defeat to Kerala Blasters in match-week 1 featured goals from Vibin Mohanan in the 18th minute and Andre Green in the 90+4th minute. The club’s limited pre-season match practice, absence of foreign signings and a short preparation period under new manager Carlos Vaz Pinto were cited as factors in their performance.
Odisha’s opening loss came from a late Raphaël Messi Bouli strike for Punjab FC at the JLN, which delivered their first defeat of the season. Odisha had not played pre-season fixtures either but added 12 new signings ahead of the 2026-27 ISL campaign.

After a 2-1 defeat to FC Goa, Inter Kashi held Odisha 0-0 until the 45th minute when Puitea opened the scoring with a volley; Diego Mauricio and Isak Ralte added two further goals for Odisha.
That Super Cup match also saw an incident in the 75th minute when Anil Chawan received a yellow and, after dissent, a second yellow that resulted in a red card and left Inter Kashi with ten men. The most recent meeting, on 24 February 2026 in the 2025-26 ISL season at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, ended 0-0.
The Bhubaneswar fixture featured 25 fouls—15 by Inter Kashi and 10 by Odisha—and produced one shot on target for each side as the match finished goalless. The inter-club head-to-head stands at two matches: one Odisha win and one draw.
