Inter Kashi vs East Bengal: ISL match in Pune on October 23, live on Sony LIV and YouTube
Inter Kashi FC will host East Bengal FC at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex (Balewadi Stadium) in Pune on October 23, 2026, in an Indian Super League 2026-27 fixture, with kick-off at 5:00 PM IST. The match pits Inter Kashi against the ISL defending champions, East Bengal FC, in a meeting of last season’s finalists.
In the Indian Super League 2025-26 season, Kishore Bharati Krirangan at Kolkata witnessed East Bengal FC lift their first-ever ISL trophy, beating Inter Kashi FC and breaking a 22-year curse, relying on Youssef Ezzejjari and MD. Basim Rashid’s goal. A homecoming for East Bengal FC head coach Antonio Lopez Habas, along with new Red & Gold faces Rohit Danu, Sandip Mandi and Narendar Gahlot, comes because they all have played for the Kashi side in the last season when the Red & Gold side clinched the title.
Inter Kashi’s start to the 2026-27 campaign produced a defeat to Kerala Blasters FC (0-2) in the season opener and a stalemate against Odisha FC in their second match. Carlos Pinto’s side has featured an all-Indian squad this season and the article notes they are looking to maintain a very compact defensive shape with good attacking transitions. The next game in front of home supporters is described as marking an immense advantage for Inter Kashi.
East Bengal arrive off a convincing season opener, beating Churchill Brothers 0-4, with Bipin Singh scoring a brace within five minutes after coming off the substitution bench. Antonio Lopez Habas’s side are coming into the tie with momentum from that victory and as the reigning ISL champions following their 2025-26 title triumph over Inter Kashi.
The fixture will be broadcast live on Sony LIV and will be available to stream digitally for free on YouTube. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00 PM IST at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex (Balewadi Stadium) in Pune on October 23, 2026.
The defending champions will be eager to claim another three points before turning their attention to the upcoming clash against Al-Seeb.
