Inter Milan v Club Brugge: Confirmed starting lineups for Champions League tie at San Siro

Inter Milan will host Club Brugge at San Siro on Tuesday night in the second league phase fixture of the UEFA Champions League 2026-27, with both clubs naming confirmed starting lineups. The match will be the first competitive meeting between the two sides.

Inter arrive top of the Serie A table with 16 points, unbeaten in six matches, and their latest league result was a 3-0 win over Parma. Cristian Chivu’s side remain without a continental victory this season after a 2-1 opening defeat to Real Madrid; Carlos Augusto scored for Inter while the visitors prevailed through goals from Kylian Mbappe and Federico Valverde.

Club Brugge have won four matches on the trot in the Belgian Pro League, most recently recording a 4-1 victory over RAAL La Louviere that moved them to second place in the points table. In Europe, the Blauw-Zwart suffered a 3-2 loss to Aston Villa in their UCL opener; Hugo Vetlesen and Nicolo Tresoldi each scored to bring Brugge level twice but the hosts ultimately lost.

Inter’s chief attacking outlet this season has been Martinez, who is the club’s top scorer in Serie A with four goals in four starts. He netted twice in the league match against Roma before the international break, then produced a toothless performance against Parma on his return. Chivu will be hoping the Argentine rediscovers the form that produced those goals.

Hugo Vetlesen has been Brugge’s primary threat, scoring four times in the Belgian Pro League and registering four goals in his last four matches across all competitions. Vetlesen’s recent scoring run and the contributions from Nicolo Tresoldi underline Brugge’s attacking form as they prepare to test Inter’s defence at San Siro.
