FC Goa recorded a 2-1 win over Inter Kashi at the Balewadi Stadium in Pune on Sunday in the Indian Super League 2026-27 season. The match featured goals attributed to Francisco Feuillassier (35’) and Christian Borrego (66’) either side of a Sumeet Passi strike (51’).

FC Goa secured their first victory of the campaign thanks to a stronger second-half display that turned the match in their favour. Inter Kashi created early openings, with Jeetu meeting a delivery into the box with a header that went wide and Ayush Chikkara firing from around 25 yards over the crossbar. The Gaurs grew into the contest as the first half progressed and moved in front when Franchu scored in the 32nd minute after a move involving Isak Ralte.

Franchu's goal came after Isak Ralte drove forward and set up the winger, who turned away from his marker and side-footed into the bottom corner. Isak himself nearly doubled the lead five minutes later with a floated effort towards the far corner that narrowly missed the target. Those chances left FC Goa in control of the opening period.

Inter Kashi responded early in the second half, drawing level in the 51st minute when Rosenberg Gabriel delivered a right-sided cross that found Sumeet Passi, who slotted the ball past a rooted Bob Jackson. FC Goa then sought an immediate reply from a set-piece when Sandesh Jhingan rose but his header went wide.

FC Goa regained the lead after Francisco Feuillassier broke the Inter Kashi lines and released a pass to substitute Muhammed Nemil, who squared the ball away from an onrushing Albino Gomes toward Chiki. The Spaniard finished past Pratik Chaudhary’s attempted block to register his second goal of the season and put the Gaurs back in front.

Inter Kashi pressed for an equaliser as the match moved into its closing stages but were unable to break down Goa's defence. Late touchline drama saw FC Goa head coach Gouramangi Singh sent off after he kicked the ball away in an attempt to delay a restart, while the home side could not find a way back into the game.

The result handed Inter Kashi their third defeat of the campaign and gave FC Goa their first win of the season.
