Matchweek 3 of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2026-27 produced 14 goals across six fixtures and, on 2026-10-29, Khel Now published its list of the top 10 Indian performers from the round. Only 14 goals were scored this week and goalkeepers were described as the real heroes.

This report has been prepared based on the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 Matchweek 3 to keep a track of the players’ performance while keeping an eye on the upcoming international assignments. Khel Now selected ten Indians who stood out during the fixtures and highlighted both defensive and attacking contributions. The coverage emphasises individual match impact rather than cumulative season totals.

Khel Now named Hrithik Tiwari the best Indian player this week after his display for the Juggernauts, where he kept a clean sheet and helped secure a vital point against an in-form NorthEast United FC; Tiwari made six saves, including three from inside the box. Vishal Kaith also received praise for his showing for Mohun Bagan, making six saves — three from inside the box — plus two punch outs and two high claims; the 30-year-old came off his line twice and made a couple of clearances as Bagan secured all three points.

Konsam Sanathoi Singh provided a decisive contribution for Punjab FC by coming off the bench at half-time and scoring a stoppage-time winner against Churchill Brothers when the game was level at 2-2; he also registered one more shot on target. PV Vishnu scored East Bengal’s second goal in their 1-5 win over Inter Kashi, completed 94% of his passes and executed four key passes while breaking the opposition backline with line-breaking passes and pace.

Manvir Singh finished as the match winner for Mohun Bagan against Chennaiyin FC at home, registering three shots on target — the most by any player — and adding two clearances while winning 4/4 aerial duels and tracking back to assist defensively. Nikhil Barla stood out for NorthEast United in their draw with Odisha FC, making ten defensive contributions (the second most by any Indian defender this week), 11 ball recoveries, eight clearances and two tackles while winning a majority of his aerial and ground duels.

Pramveer Singh produced a solid defensive display for the Highlanders, recording six defensive contributions including four clearances, one block and one tackle, and completing 90% of his passes. Valpuia led Indian defenders this week with 12 defensive contributions, registering four clearances, three tackles, winning seven ground duels and one aerial duel, and completing 36/42 passes for an 87% accuracy.

Bipin Singh continued his influential run against Inter Kashi by creating one big chance, delivering four key passes and providing an assist. Abdul Rabeeh offered an all-round performance for Juan Pedro Benali’s side, creating one big chance, registering three key passes, maintaining a 90% passing accuracy and making two clearances and one tackle while using his pace to create opportunities.

NorthEast United lead the ISL 2026-27 points table after matchweek 3. For more updates, follow Khel Now on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube; download the Khel Now Android App or IOS App and join our community on Whatsapp & Telegram.
