ISL 2026-27 Phase 1: Inter Kashi fixtures revealed

Inter Kashi’s Phase 1 fixtures for the Indian Super League 2026-27 were published as the league released its schedule for the first 14 matchweeks, with Phase 1 running from 10th October 2026 to 17th January 2026. Inter Kashi are set to open their campaign against Kerala Blasters on 11th October 2026 at 5:00 PM IST, but the venue for that match remains undecided.
The 13th edition of the ISL will feature 13 teams and reverts to the home-and-away format with each club facing every other side twice. The season kicks off on 10th October 2026 with Bengaluru FC versus Sporting Club Delhi at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, scheduled for 5:00 PM IST. The league has published fixtures for the first 14 matchdays only; the schedule for Phase 2 and the playoffs has not been revealed.
Inter Kashi are operating under a FIFA-sanctioned transfer and registration ban imposed because of unpaid wages to players and members of the former coaching staff. The ban would be lifted if Inter Kashi resolve their issues within the guidelines of FIFA and the AFC, and, until then, the club have been unable to sign new players.
The squad has suffered significant departures, including the entire foreign contingent during the 2025-26 ISL season. Players who left before the 2026-27 season include Alfred Planas, Sergio Llamas, Nishu Kumar, Nishchal Chandan, Rohit Danu, Sandeep Mandi, etc., who were described as crucial for the team in their previous ISL campaign.
Inter Kashi did not play any pre-season games over the summer and remain without a settled home ground for the upcoming ISL season. The club previously split home fixtures between the Ekana International Stadium in Lucknow and the Kishore Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata, while the Birsa Munda Football Stadium in Ranchi is identified in reports as the venue most likely to host their home matches in 2026-27.
On the field, Inter Kashi managed three wins from 13 matches in the 2025-26 ISL: 2-1 victories over Kerala Blasters FC and Chennaiyin FC, and a 1-0 win against now relegated Mohammedan SC. Their last match of that campaign was a 2-1 defeat to East Bengal. Head coach Abhijit Mondal faces the task of steadying the side, and Inter Kashi’s Phase 1 schedule will see them play eight home matches in their first eight fixtures before finishing the phase with four away games on matchday 14.
For the 2026-27 season Inter Kashi will aim to accumulate as many points as possible before they are allowed to bring in reinforcements to bolster their squad once the transfer and registration ban is resolved.
