Iyer cites batting, bowling and fielding errors after India lose fifth T20I to New Zealand
India captain Shreyas Iyer reflected on his side's performance after their defeat to New Zealand in the fifth T20I.
Iyer admitted the team, which had scored 191 runs, was a bit sloppy and had shortcomings in batting, bowling and fielding, and struggled to build key partnerships at pivotal moments.
He called for enhanced focus on fielding in tough conditions and said the defeat still yielded valuable lessons, while New Zealand's victory featured significant contributions from Tim Seifert and Glenn Phillips.
