Iyer: Gambhir enforced 'no place for mediocrity' in KKR dressing room

Venkatesh Iyer said Gautam Gambhir fostered a culture of readiness and ferocity in the Kolkata Knight Riders dressing room during the 2024 IPL season.

Iyer said there was 'no place for mediocrity' and that the high level of expectation motivated the batters to be proactive and deliver their best.

That, he said, ultimately contributed to KKR's stellar performance and their triumph in clinching the third IPL title under Gambhir's leadership.
