Iyer wins toss, bowls first as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Prince Yadav added to India XI

India captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bowl first against New Zealand in the second T20 on October 24, 2026.
India made two changes to their playing XI, with 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi replacing Ishan Kishan and Prince Yadav coming in for Mayank Yadav.
Iyer said the team must maintain an aggressive approach while improving fielding, and New Zealand brought Jacob Duffy in for Adam Milne.
