Jacob Fatu run down by Jaida Parker on September 29 WWE Raw; taken to hospital

Jacob Fatu was struck by a vehicle driven by Jaida Parker in the loading dock during the September 29 edition of WWE Raw, and footage after the show shows him loaded into an ambulance and taken to hospital. WWE posted a clip on its social media channels showing Jey and Jimmy Uso assisting medics as Fatu was placed into the ambulance.

The incident followed a segment built around last week’s abduction of Solo Sikoa by 946 (Royce Keys, Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) and the Bloodline’s response; the Bloodline (Jacob Fatu, Jimmy & Jey Uso) had declared that Solo remained family and that they would retaliate. During Raw, the Bloodline confronted an SUV at the loading dock after believing it belonged to 946; the driver was NXT’s Jaida Parker, who told Jey Uso she was there to speak with General Manager Adam Pearce.

Earlier in the show 946 aired a promo in which Royce Keys said somebody “was not making it off the block tonight.” In the closing moments 946 arrived at ringside, removed security personnel and came face-to-face with the Bloodline as a brawl erupted; the Usos exchanged blows with OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) while Fatu and Keys fought through the backstage area and into the loading dock.

As Keys attempted to escape, he entered a car while Fatu tried to stop him and attempted to lock in the Tongan Death Grip. A black sedan then ran over Fatu; Parker stepped out, initially apologised and said she had not seen him before she then “dropped the act and warned that nobody was safe.” Parker got into the vehicle with Keys and they drove off, with Keys taunting Fatu, “All gas, no brakes.”

After the program ended WWE shared a clip showing Fatu being placed into the back of an ambulance and taken to hospital, with Jey and Jimmy Uso helping medics load him; WWE’s social post read: "Jacob Fatu has been taken to the hospital after being run over by Jaida Parker in the closing seconds of Raw.#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/hqvLjdnfPt" It is unclear if Fatu will be written off television after the attack, and with Roman Reigns due to appear next week fans are expecting him to address the incident; Reigns is set to defend the title against LA Knight at Money in the Bank and, the report notes, has been absent since that match was announced and the two have not faced off since.

The October 5 edition of Monday Night Raw will air live from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
