Jaismine Lamboria won gold at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow after overcoming a serious bacterial infection she suffered in the lead-up to the Games.
The infection hampered her training for two weeks and she received support from sports psychologist Priya Vrinda during her recovery.
She channeled her resilience and game strategy in the ring, upgrading her previous bronze to gold in the 57kg class.
