Jamal Musiala collapsed again during a Bayern match and on 18 August 2026 revealed he has been diagnosed with brief, temporary absence seizures caused by a neurological dysfunction.
He says the collapses followed two recent incidents, against Leipzig and Heidenheim, and that he is receiving specialist treatment and feels optimistic.
He says he faces no additional health risk and, with medical clearance, intends to continue playing football and pursuing his career.
