Japan Cricket CEO says Asian Games teams may arrange their own accommodation

Japan Cricket CEO Naoki Alex Miyaji clarified Asian Games accommodation arrangements for teams on September 1, 2026.
He said participating teams were offered hotel stays and could arrange their own lodging.
Logistical constraints are affecting many sports at the event, not just cricket, and the Korogi Sports Park venue was built from scratch within a tight timeframe. Organisers are confident cricket will make a strong impression at the Games.
