Jeff Adams: Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis main campaign will take about 14–16 hours

In an interview published on October 25, 2026, Jeff Adams, Experience Director at Crystal Dynamics, said the main campaign of Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis will take most players roughly 14 to 16 hours to complete. He added the exact time will vary with individual playstyles.
Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is scheduled for release on February 12, 2027, and will arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. Crystal Dynamics described the game as slightly more extensive than the original Tomb Raider, which was played in about 12–15 hours, citing additional systems and updated features.
Adams noted that playstyle influences completion time, with players who thoroughly explore levels, tackle environmental puzzles and search for hidden secrets likely to spend longer in the game. The development team has designed the game world to encourage exploration and to reward players who take time to investigate its corners.
The studio confirmed there will be multiple reasons to replay Legacy of Atlantis, and has pointed to additional content, collectibles, secrets and alternative gameplay experiences beyond a single playthrough. Full details of those replay incentives have not yet been revealed by the developers.
Among the new gameplay systems is a traversal mechanic called the Grapple Cuff, which Crystal Dynamics says will let players traverse hazardous terrain, scale vertical cliffs and solve environmental challenges that were not possible in the original game. The team highlighted these new systems as part of the expanded design that contributes to the longer campaign length.
Crystal Dynamics reiterated that the 14–16 hour estimate applies to the main story and will depend on how players approach the game. The studio has not released more specifics about post-launch or replay content ahead of the February 12, 2027 launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
