Juventus defeated Palermo 2-0 in a pre-season friendly at Perth Stadium in Australia on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, with goals from Kenan Yildiz and Arkadiusz Milik. Yildiz opened the scoring in the 44th minute and Milik added a late second in the 87th minute.

Juventus controlled large portions of the match but struggled to break down Palermo for much of the game, eventually finding a first goal just before halftime. The Bianconeri created a number of chances across both halves as they sought a second goal, but Palermo’s resistance kept the contest competitive until the late Milik strike.

Defensive concerns featured prominently: Gleison Bremer missed the friendly as a precaution, and Juventus’ backline looked unsettled without him. Federico Gatt and Daniele Rugani were singled out for underwhelming displays against lower-league opposition, while new signing Zeki Celik was noted for an assist and defensive contributions.

Randal Kolo Muani, who arrived for €41.2m, failed to make an impact in the attacking third and was largely absent from Juventus’ forward play. The French forward, who scored one goal in 30 appearances on loan at Tottenham Hotspur last season, was withdrawn at the hour mark and replaced by Arkadiusz Milik, who later scored the match’s second goal.

Kenan Yildiz was described as the standout performer, troubling Palermo’s defence throughout and producing the opening goal. Francisco Conceicao created three chances for Juventus as the wingers took on much of the attacking burden in Kolo Muani’s quieter outing.

Palermo offered a measured response rather than being overwhelmed, registering nine shots with three on target during the match. Finnish goalkeeper Jesse Joronen produced several key saves to preserve a respectable scoreline for the Serie B side.
