Kapil Dev joins former captains in appeal for better treatment for Imran Khan

Former India captain Kapil Dev joined 21 former international captains on August 24, 2026, in urging Pakistan to provide jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan with proper medical care and humane conditions.

The group asked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to follow court orders allowing medical treatment and weekly family visits.

Kapil stressed the appeal was about Khan's health rather than his legal cases.
