Keanna MacInnes helped Great Britain win two gold medals on Sunday, the final day of the European Aquatics Championships in Paris, propelling the team to the top of the overall medals table.

Great Britain finished with 14 golds to second-placed Italy's 13, and collected a total of 26 medals after adding the two Sunday victories; the squad also won four silvers and eight bronzes, with 14 of those 26 medals coming in swimming events.

MacInnes sealed victory in the 200m butterfly by setting a new Scottish record of two minutes 5.90 seconds and subsequently swam the fly leg in the women's 4×100m medley relay.

'Very last stroke!' - GB win dramatic relay gold. Angharad Evans, who had already taken gold in the individual 100m breaststroke, produced the fastest ever women's relay breaststroke leg as the medley quartet — which also featured Lauren Cox and Freya Colbert — finished in a championship record three minutes 53.50 seconds.

The swimmers as a group secured eight golds, two silvers and four bronzes, while the diving team contributed two golds, two silvers and three bronzes and artistic swimming produced four golds and a bronze.

Eighteen-year-old Filip Nowacki provided one of the swimmers' titles earlier in the week by winning the men's 200m breaststroke on Thursday.

The women's medley relay victory proved decisive for the overall standings: it secured Great Britain top spot on the medal charts over Italy, whom they beat by a tenth of a second, leaving Britain on 14 golds to Italy's 13.
