Khawaja urges Australia to consider Matt Kuhnemann for final Test

On October 25, 2026, Usman Khawaja urged Australia to consider left-arm spinner Matt Kuhnemann ahead of the final Test against South Africa, saying, "Not once have people really mentioned Kuhnemann".
He cited the hosts’ right-handed batting lineup.
Australia lost the previous match by an innings and 31 runs after omitting Nathan Lyon, and Khawaja also suggested moving Nic Maddinson to the middle order as selectors consider batting changes and Cam Green’s return from injury.
