Krafton sets PUBG Mobile 4.7 release for November 12, 2026, unveils winter mode and gameplay changes

Krafton on October 12, 2026 officially revealed details of the PUBG Mobile 4.7 update in an official announcement. The company outlined a winter-themed mode, new movement mechanics, fresh equipment and broader gameplay adjustments.
The announcement said the update will introduce winter-inspired gameplay and survival mechanics designed to match a seasonal theme, while improving player mobility. Krafton highlighted a new set of passive skills called Glyph Abilities and the addition of Glyph Altars scattered across maps. The developer also released a beta build that has generated excitement among fans by previewing the seasonal content and mechanics.
Glyph Abilities will be assigned randomly to players at the start of each match, providing passive effects from match openers. Glyph Altars are mapped locations where players can reroll those abilities or obtain additional passives by visiting the altar. Krafton described these systems as part of the update’s new survival and progression options.
Mobility changes centre on Aurora’s Fleeting Step, an ability that allows players to perform a double dash or a short jump to reposition quickly. The update also introduces the Auroral Pegasus, described as a mythical mount that can run across terrain and fly in the air for quicker movement around the battlefield. Krafton presented these additions as tools to increase tactical movement during engagements.
Combat customization will expand with a new Canted Foregrip attachment and the Battle Ready Kit, alongside other weapon attachments detailed in the beta. Krafton said these items are intended to add flexibility and tactical options in combat situations. The company’s preview materials showed how the attachments and kits integrate with existing weapon mechanics.
Erangel will receive a subzero makeover under the label Erangel Subzero, with environmental changes to match the update’s winter theme. The V4.7 beta reveal offered a first look at the new gameplay mechanics, themed vehicles and new items, and Krafton promoted the beta as a way for players to experience those elements ahead of the full release.
