Lamine Yamal given 90 overall rating in EA Sports FC 27

Barcelona and Spain winger Lamine Yamal has been assigned a 90 overall rating in EA Sports FC 27, EA Sports revealed on August 18, 2026. The announcement formed part of the publisher’s initial release of top-rated players for the title.

The 90 overall represents a one-point increase from Yamal’s EA FC 26 base rating of 89 and is the highest base rating he has received in the EA Sports FC series. Khel Now attributed the uptick to his club performances and his displays at the FIFA World Cup, where he won the trophy with Spain. Yamal is 19 years old according to the ratings reveal.

Yamal’s FC 27 base card lists 86 Pace, 84 Shooting, 87 Passing, 93 Dribbling, 38 Defense and 61 Physical. Khel Now reported that his shooting, dribbling and defense "have received a massive boost" compared to his previous ratings.

The ratings reveal places Yamal among the highest-rated men’s players in FC 27 alongside Harry Kane, Rodri, Ousmane Dembélé, Vitinha, Michael Olise and Jude Bellingham. EA Sports FC has published the top 27 highest-rated men’s and women’s players as part of the rollout.

Khel Now noted Yamal’s 86 pace, 93 dribbling and 87 passing and suggested his right-wing profile will be prominent in Ultimate Team; "Don't be surprised if you see too many Yamals on each team when you play Ultimate Team mode," the site wrote.

EA Sports FC has begun the ratings rollout covering players from the Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, Ligue 1, NWSL, MLS and Liga MX and said more reveals will follow throughout the week.

The publisher will release the entire base item database excluding PlayStyles on August 21, with an updated database that includes PlayStyles scheduled for September 10 after the international transfer deadline.
