The leaks place Hexe in Germany during the witch hunts of the 15th and 16th centuries and describe a darker tone than recent series entries, while retaining parkour and acrobatics. MP1ST’s report refers to the protagonist as “Petra,” though previous leaks have suggested the final name could be Anika Adler and many names may be placeholders; Ubisoft has not officially confirmed either name.

MP1ST describes the lead character as a determined and independent woman in her mid-twenties who refuses to accept the restrictive role imposed by society. The leaks say her arc will centre on persecution, survival and uncovering hidden truths.

Family ties detailed in the report identify Brigitte as Petra’s mother, portrayed as a compassionate midwife with knowledge of herbal medicine who might play a major role and could be the link to the protagonist’s legendary Auditore bloodline. Her father, Konrad, is described as a caring and religious man who also serves as the town’s executioner.

A list of supporting characters mentioned in the leaks includes Bruno, Anton, Johanna, Theo and Erika, each of whom is said to possess distinct motives and conflicts. Mother Gertrud is singled out as a former village healer who has become an outcast after being blamed for a deadly illness and may offer shelter to Petra from a faction called The Order of the Lamb.

The Order of the Lamb is presented in the leaks as a dangerous faction that might be connected to the Templar Order. MP1ST’s account, circulated online and picked up by outlets reporting the leaks, is the source for the character and faction details now in circulation.
