Liv Morgan pins Stephanie Vaquer to regain WWE Women’s World Title at Money in the Bank 2026 in New Orleans

Liv Morgan pinned Stephanie Vaquer to recapture the WWE Women’s World Championship in a triple threat match against Becky Lynch at WWE Money in the Bank 2026 in New Orleans on October 11, 2026.
The bout served as Stephanie Vaquer’s first title defence after she won the championship from Morgan at a house show in Santiago, Chile, an outcome that involved Becky Lynch serving as special guest referee and set up the three-way feud that culminated at Money in the Bank. Becky Lynch entered the match first, followed by Liv Morgan and then the defending Women’s World Champion, Stephanie Vaquer.
The match opened with Vaquer and Lynch exchanging offense while Morgan briefly walked out of the ring before returning to join the action; Vaquer attempted the Devil’s Kiss until Lynch intervened. The contest spilled to ringside after Vaquer hit a top-rope crossbody on both opponents, and Vaquer appeared to momentarily limp, described in the report as a tweaked ankle.
Momentum shifted to Morgan when she whipped Vaquer into the steel steps and executed a sequence that included three Amigos, with the third sending Vaquer onto Lynch. Vaquer then delivered a Devil’s Kiss to Morgan followed by a dragonscrew and went for a pin, but Morgan kicked out; the account notes Vaquer continued to manage the ankle issue while remaining competitive.
Lynch responded by dropping both opponents with a double DDT and attempted pins on each before bringing a table from under the ring; Vaquer and Lynch worked together briefly to set up the table and target Morgan. A ringside struggle over the table allowed Morgan to strike back, after which Vaquer applied a half crab on Morgan and Lynch locked in the Disarmer, leading to both women yelling at one another and exchanging headbutts.
In the closing sequence Vaquer hit the Inferno on Morgan and went for the cover, but Lynch pulled referee Jessika Carr out of the ring to stop the pin and was later sent crashing onto the table. Morgan returned, hit Oblivion on Vaquer and completed the three-count to regain the Women’s World title, the report noting the victory came “once again after the ‘Santiago Screwjob.’”
The event also featured Roman Reigns successfully defending the World Heavyweight Title against LA Knight in the first match of the PLE, and Tiffany Stratton won the 2026 Money in the Bank ladder match to become the second woman to capture the briefcase twice. WWE’s next Premium Live Event is Crown Jewel at Riyadh Season Stadium in KAFD, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 7, 2026.
