Lola Vice may have wrestled her final match on WWE NXT after losing to Kendal Grey in the main event of the August 4, 2026 edition of NXT at the WWE Performance Center. Following the NXT Underground title match Vice addressed the crowd, left her gloves in the ring and received a post-show embrace from Damian Priest.

The title bout was contested under NXT Underground rules, with Kendal Grey defeating Vice by submission to retain the NXT Women’s Championship. Vice had entered the match undefeated in NXT Underground contests, and immediately after the finish she raised Grey’s hand in a show of respect. Those in attendance reported that once cameras stopped rolling Vice thanked fans inside the WWE Performance Center and left her gloves in the ring.

Grey’s submission victory ended Vice’s run without defeat in NXT Underground matches and concluded the night’s main-event title showdown. The former champion’s decision to raise Grey’s hand came at the match’s conclusion, according to the event coverage. The loss also ended Vice’s streak in that particular stipulation.

Eyewitness accounts described an emotional scene after the televised portion ended, with Vice addressing supporters and receiving loud chants of "Thank you, Lola!" from the crowd. Attendees said Vice left her gloves in the ring, a gesture reported in the immediate post-show reaction. Those reactions occurred inside the WWE Performance Center once the show was off the air.

A surprise appearance followed the off-air moments when Damian Priest walked to the ring and embraced Vice before she delivered remarks to the audience. Priest, who is Vice’s real-life boyfriend, joined her after the cameras stopped recording, according to reports from those present. Video and social posts from the event captured the interaction between the two.

While WWE has not issued an official roster announcement, reports via Wrestling Observer indicate Vice is expected to be called up to the SmackDown roster. The reporting states SmackDown is viewed as her most likely destination, though no confirmation has been provided by WWE. If the move is formalised, it would follow a run in NXT that included a reign as NXT Women’s Champion and a notable record in NXT Underground matches.

WWE has yet to confirm Vice’s departure from NXT; published reports suggest a main-roster call-up to SmackDown may be next for her career. Further official announcements from WWE will determine whether this appearance was Vice’s final match on the developmental brand.
