LOVE magazine preview unveils new GTA 6 artwork, story details and screenshots

French magazine LOVE has published a preview for its Issue 27 that reveals new artwork, in-game screenshots and story details from Rockstar’s GTA 6, with the collectible issue priced at €25 and due for release on October 5, 2026.

The preview includes exclusive images of protagonists Jason and Lucia and promises developer interviews along with fresh insights into the game’s characters, world-building and narrative direction, and pre-orders for the issue sold out within minutes of going live.

LOVE’s feature contains an interview with Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson and a longer discussion with the studio’s narrative team that explores the relationship between Jason and Lucia; the developers describe Lucia as driven by determination to build a better future while Jason is depicted as reacting to the situations unfolding around him.

Writer Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern told the magazine that the main goal was to create protagonists who are "flawed, vulnerable, tough, right sometimes and sometimes wrong," a character design choice the feature says will allow the two leads to grow together over the course of the story.

The preview’s new screenshots include two contrasting images of Jason and Lucia: one that the report suggests may be a cutscene and a second showing the pair with noticeably different appearances, with commentary noting that characters can gain weight in GTA 6.

The issue frames both Jason and Lucia as the developers’ version of the American Dream and is described in the preview as a highly collectible item for GTA 6 fans because of its exclusive artwork, screenshots and developer commentary.

More material and additional details from the interviews and imagery will be available when LOVE’s Issue 27 is released on October 5, 2026.
