Lucky loser Dhakshineshwar Suresh records first ATP Tour win at Winston-Salem

Lucky loser Dhakshineshwar Suresh defeated Marcos Giron in straight sets to record his first ATP Tour victory at the Winston-Salem Open on August 25, 2026.

Suresh, ranked 394th, served 17 aces and won 6-3, 7-5 in just over an hour.

The win is the second time an Indian singles player has won a main draw match at the event, and Suresh will next face Argentina's Juan Manuel Cerundolo.
