Madushka hit on helmet by KL Rahul sweep in Galle first Test

Nishan Madushka was struck on the helmet by a sweep from KL Rahul during the first Test between India and Sri Lanka in Galle on August 15, 2026.

The contact occurred off the final delivery of Prabath Jayasuriya's over.

Rahul went down low to play a well-timed sweep, and Madushka, stationed at short leg, was directly in the path of the shot.
