Manav Suthar, in his debut, became the first spinner to take five wickets in both his first home and away Test matches, the Times of India reported on 20 August 2026.
The report said that feat had not been achieved since Mohammad Nisar in 1933. It added that Suthar became the youngest Indian to claim ten wickets in a single Test, eclipsing Harbhajan Singh's previous record.
