Manchester City to sign Palmeiras winger Allan Elias for up to £34.2m

Manchester City have agreed to sign Palmeiras winger Allan Elias from the Brazilian club on 24 August 2026, in a move completed during the current transfer window. The club have agreed a package worth up to £34.2m for the 22-year-old.
Allan Elias came through Palmeiras' youth system and made his senior debut in 2025; City will pay a fixed fee of £32m plus £2.2m in add-ons. The player is expected to undergo a medical in the coming days and has been identified as a replacement for compatriot Savinho, who looks set to join Tottenham.
City remain in advanced talks to sell Egypt forward Omar Marmoush to Tottenham Hotspur, and sources with knowledge of the situation say there is a "good chance" the deal gets completed before the 1 September transfer deadline.
Discussions are ongoing between the two clubs and there are some details yet to be agreed.
Midfielder Nico Gonzalez has attracted strong interest from Newcastle and may also depart the Etihad Stadium before the end of the transfer window.
Allan's medical and the fate of Marmoush are the immediate next steps, with the club expecting the medical to take place in the coming days and negotiations over Marmoush potentially concluding before the 1 September deadline.
