Manchester United v AS Roma: Confirmed lineups and pre-match updates for UEFA Champions League 2026-27

Manchester United will host AS Roma at Old Trafford in their fourth league-phase match of the UEFA Champions League 2026-27 on 2026-11-03, with United under pressure after failing to win in their last nine matches and Roma arriving in positive form.

Manchester United have won only once in this Champions League campaign and followed that opening victory with defeats to Atlético Madrid and Como 1907; Michael Carrick’s side have struggled to implement their strategies and will look to use the Old Trafford setting to arrest their slide.

The Wolves have continued their positive run of form and are performing really well in domestic competitions; after drawing against Fenerbahce and losing to Real Madrid, the Gian Piero Gasperini-led team secured a 4-0 win against Slovan Bratislava in their most recent UEFA Champions League outing.

AS Roma will now be looking to secure their second win in the tournament, having shown improved output in recent matches and preparing to face the Premier League opposition at Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes is named in an attacking midfield role for Manchester United; the Portuguese playmaker is described as crucial to both midfield and attack despite not being in top form and will be expected to step up to help the Red Devils regain winning form.

The Dutchman has scored three goals in the last two Champions League games for his side, and Donyell Malen is once again set to operate as the sole striker for the Serie A club; he is noted as one of the most consistent players for the Wolves and will aim to add to his tally.
