Manwar and Blue Jet pleased when the horses were exercised in Pune on Tuesday (Aug. 11) morning. The session, published - August 11, 2026 05:45 pm IST, produced timed works from 600m up to 1,400m and included a gate-practice on the inner sand.
Morning schooling ranged from short 600m drills to longer 1,400m gallops, with timed sectional figures provided for each effort. Jockeys who rode during the session included Yash, Parmar, P. Dhebe, C.S. Jodha, Nazil, S. Kamble, Bhawani, Avinash and others listed in the report. The report records both individual and paired works along with brief remarks on each effort.
At 600m, Gunfire (Yash) was timed at 42 and described as Easy. In 800m work, South Beach (Parmar) and Tonto (P. Dhebe) recorded 55 with a 600/41 split and were noted as Pair level, while Mai Tai (Bhawani) posted 55 with a 600/40 split and was marked Easy. Golden Rule (app) and Goomah (app) covered 800m in 57 with a 600/43 split; the former ended three lengths in front. Cellini (Omkar) ran 800m in 51 with a 600/36 split and was reported to have moved well.
Further 800m drills included Fortunate Son (Parmar) and Luna (P. Dhebe) at 52 with 600/39, moving level freely; Dancing Cloud (Nazil) at 55 with 600/42, moved freely; Midnight Express (Parmar) at 50 with 600/37, moved nicely; and Madison (rb) at 56 with 600/41, described as Easy. Magical Moment (Avinash) covered 800m in 52 with a 600/38 and worked freely, Tempest (Aditya) in 54 with 600/41 moved freely, Bhramastra (Neeraj) in 51 with 600/38 moved well, and Ekla Cholo (Merchant) in 53 with 600/40 worked well. Lucky Diamond (C.S. Jodha) and Son Of A Gun (Avinash) were both at 52 with 600/39, were pushed and finished level, while Sporting Alice (Nazil) ran 53 with 600/39 and worked freely.
The 1000m session featured Tropical Paradise (P. Dhebe) 1-7, 800/51, 600/38 and was assessed as Good work; Key West (Parmar) 1-8, 800/52, 600/40 and was Slightly urged; Invictor (Bhwani) 1-8, 800/52, 600/39 and was Pressed in the last part. Funny Bunny (N.B. Kuldeep) recorded 1-11 with a 600/43 split and was Easy. Blue Jet (Yash) and Abhyankar (Gore) did 1-5 with 800/50, 600/38; the former strode out well and finished four lengths ahead. Victory Flair (Nazil) was 1-6, 800/52, 600/39 and Responded well; El Moran (C.S. Jodha) 1-9, 800/54, 600/41 moved freely; Loyal Lover (C.S. Jodha) 1-8, 800/54, 600/40 was Pushed.
In the 1200m works, Land Of Plenty (app) and Looking Like A Wow (Ramswarup) clocked 1-23, 1000/1-8, 800/53, 600/40 with the former finishing three lengths ahead. Rosario (Yash) and Sanctified (Vivek) were 1-23, 1000/1-8, 800/54, 600/41 and moved neck and neck freely. Manwar (S. Kamble) and Magical Star (Kaviraj) ran 1-19, 1000/1-5, 800/51, 600/39; the former started three lengths behind and easily finished level. Note the former. Daredevil (Yash) and Illusionist (Gore) recorded 1-23, 1000/1-9, 800/54, 600/41 with the former making up three lengths and finishing level.
The longest gallop reported was Azalea (Siddharth) and Fynbos (Vivek) over 1400m in 1-41, 1200/1-26, 800/57, 600/43 and they were described as easy. Gate practice on the inner sand comprised a 1000m heat in which Hermanus (Siddharth) and Oliver (Umesh) ran 1-9 with 800/54, 600/41; the former ended three lengths in front.
