Marvel's Wolverine available to pre-load from Sept 8 ahead of PS5 launch on Sept 15, 2026

Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Wolverine will be available to pre-load from midnight on September 8, 2026 for digital buyers ahead of its PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro launch on September 15, 2026, the publisher has confirmed.
PlayStation Game Size reports the download/install requires approximately 79.36GB of free storage on PS5, making it slightly smaller than Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which was around 88 GB at launch; the game is not open-world, but that install size accompanies what the publisher describes as numerous quality assets, cinematic moments and detailed environments.
Insomniac’s latest trailer confirmed a day-one update that will include bug fixes and Photo Mode, and the game will launch with New Game Plus and Mission Replay available from day one.
New Game Plus will introduce Nightmare challenges in which enemies are stronger and players gain an extra level cap to pursue tougher encounters.
Promotional material comparing Wolverine to Spider-Man 2 listed the following items: "NG+ & mission replay day one", "60 FPS w/ RT by default", "No MJ sections, only Logan is playable", "Destructible environments", "Actual blood and violence", and "Mature story".
The title’s advertised locations include Shinjuku, Madripoor, Talenang and the Canadian wilderness, and players who digitally pre-order the game can begin pre-loading on September 8, 2026 starting at midnight local time.
Sony PlayStation has scheduled a PlayStation State of Play on September 3, 2026. For more updates, Khel Now advises following Khel Now Gaming on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; downloading the Khel Now Android App or IOS App; or joining its community on Telegram & Whatsapp.
