Former UFC title challenger Michael Chandler was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, on Monday, August 10, a visit first reported by False Finish. There are no publicly available details about the purpose of the visit or whether he engaged in any in-ring training.

Chandler has repeatedly expressed interest in transitioning from mixed martial arts to professional wrestling. At Fanatics Fest in June 2025 he said he had spoken directly with Triple H about potentially joining WWE, adding that "both sides were working toward making the opportunity happen." He has also discussed potential opponents, appeared on the February 19, 2024, episode of Monday Night RAW where he called out Conor McGregor, mentioned Logan Paul as a possible opponent and previously expressed interest in competing at SummerSlam 2026, an opportunity that did not materialize.

The visit was first reported by False Finish, which confirmed Chandler was at the WWE facility. False Finish published: "Sources indicate to False Finish that UFC fighter Michael Chandler is at the WWE Performance Center today pic.twitter.com/bxIiXzVP2x". Neither False Finish nor WWE has provided additional details about Chandler’s activities at the Performance Center.

Chandler remains officially under contract with the UFC. His most recent bout took place on June 14 at UFC Freedom 250, where he suffered a first-round knockout loss to Mauricio Ruffy. That result leaves his immediate MMA future uncertain.

There is currently no confirmation that Chandler’s appearance signals an imminent WWE debut or a formal agreement between the two sides. Given his prior conversations with WWE and his ongoing interest in making the move, another visit to the Performance Center is likely to generate further speculation.
