Mirabai Chanu wins silver as India take two skeet bronzes at Asian Games 2026

Mirabai Chanu won silver in the women's 49kg category at the Asian Games 2026 on Wednesday.
It was India's first Asian Games weightlifting medal since Karnam Malleswari won silver in 1998.
Raiza Dhillon, Maheshwari Chauhan and Parinaaz Dhaliwal combined for a score of 331 to finish third in the women's skeet team event.
Anantjeet Singh Naruka, veteran Mairaj Ahmad Khan and Bhavtegh Singh Gill secured bronze in the men's skeet event with a combined score of 346.
