Miss American Pie, Fighton and Tonto impress at Pune morning exercise

Miss American Pie, Fighton and Tonto impressed when exercised at Pune on Wednesday (Sept. 23) morning. Fighton (P. Dhebe) covered 800m in 49 with a 600m split of 37.

Workouts were recorded across distances from 600m to 1400m, with gate practice noted on the inner sand. Miss American Pie (Parmar) was timed at 50 for 800m with a 600m split of 37 and was described as pleased. Tonto (Parmar) and Luna (P. Dhebe) were both timed at 49 for 800m with 600m splits of 37, Tonto finishing six lengths ahead.

At 600m, Victory Flair (Shahrukh) recorded 36 and was pushed. Key West (P. Dhebe) and Mojito (D.A. Naik) both posted 51 with 600m splits of 38 and were reported to have worked or moved well. Tempo (app0) covered 53, 600/38 and moved freely.

New Yorker (Avinash) recorded 52, 600/39 and was slightly urged. Philatelist (C. Umesh) and Pour Me A Peg (Bhawani) each clocked 52, 600/39, were pushed and Philatelist finished three lengths ahead. Azaadi (S. Kamble) 54, 600/41 moved fluently while Ashwa Vedha (Kaviraj) 57, 600/43 was described as easy.

Sandokan (Avinash) 54, 600/41 worked freely; Katame (C. Umesh) 52, 600/39 was pressed. Emperor Roderic (Mosin) 55, 600/40 was easy and Dream Seller (S. Kamble) 52, 600/39 worked well.

At longer distances, Bohemian Rhapsody (Shahrukh) 1-7, 800/53, 600/40 was pressed in the last part. Sequential (rb) and Son Of A Gun (Avinash) 1-8, 800/52, 600/40 saw Sequential end two lengths in front. Endurance (J. Chinoy) 1-6, 800/51, 600/38 moved well, while Real Gold (Kaviraj) 1-23, 1000/1-8, 800/53, 600/39 responded well; Regina Memorabilis (Neeraj) 1-36, 1200/1-21, 1000/1-6, 800/52, 600/39 moved nicely.

1000m work included State Express (Shahrukh) and Dancing Cloud (rb) 1-9, 800/53, 600/40, with State Express finishing four lengths ahead. Megatron (Zeeshan), Whispering Angel (Mosin) and Silver Dynamite (Aditya) 1-9, 800/53, 600/40 recorded that Megatron finished two lengths ahead of Whispering Angel, who was a further two lengths ahead of Silver Dynamite. Queen’s Covenant (app) and Aegean Sea (Pranil) 1-11, 800/55, 600/41 saw Queen’s Covenant end three lengths in front.
