MLS Good Behaviour rule keeps Lionel Messi eligible despite fifth yellow card
Football
Lionel Messi collected his fifth yellow card this MLS season but will remain available for Inter Miami's clash with New England Revolution.
He avoids an automatic suspension under MLS's Good Behaviour Incentive, which allows players to erase bookings after five consecutive matches without disciplinary action.
Application of the rule has reduced his active tally to three cautions.
