Mohamed Salah joins Trabzonspor on two-year deal worth €17m a season

Mohamed Salah signed with Trabzonspor, an announcement the club made to the Turkish stock exchange as fans prepared to head to the stadium for a ceremony the day after he arrived in Istanbul in the team's kit.

The Egypt forward has agreed a two-year deal and will be paid €17m (£14.5m) per season.

He will also receive 20% from products sold in his name, and the club described the signing as a free transfer; Salah is 34 years old and a former Liverpool player.
