Mohun Bagan SG will meet CISF Protectors in their final 2026 Durand Cup group-stage match at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan Stadium in Kolkata on Monday, 10 August 2026. The group fixture pits the unbeaten Mariners against a CISF side chasing a first positive result in the competition.

Mohun Bagan arrive at the match having won both of their group games and remain on a 100% record under head coach Panagiotis Dilmperis, who has begun implementing his methods with mixed results but consecutive victories. CISF Protectors have lost both of their group matches so far and the club have described the tournament as a learning experience against stronger opponents.

Dilmperis’ team has produced attacking football and are expected to control possession in Kolkata; Mohun Bagan will seek a decisive win while needing to be efficient in the final third. The Mariners have a fully fit squad available for the clash, and new signing Miguel Figueira could make his debut.

CISF will likely set up with many players behind the ball, prioritising a compact defensive shape and quick transitions in search of chances from opposition errors. The Protectors’ coaching staff view a draw or narrow defeat as a respectable outcome, while an upset victory would be a major story for the competition.

Forward Manvir Singh has scored three goals for Mohun Bagan at the 2026 Durand Cup, including a hat-trick in the previous game, and has been used as a centre-forward in the absence of Jamie Maclaren. He was less effective in the recent derby win over East Bengal but proved clinical against South United and will aim to continue that scoring form while improving his link-up play.

CISF’s hopes rest in part on goalkeeper Raj Kumar, who has conceded 10 goals in two matches in the competition and will need to produce repeated saves to disturb Mohun Bagan’s frontline. The side’s plan requires Kumar to be agile and show quick reflexes if they are to secure any positive result.

Mohun Bagan’s possible XI includes Vishal Kaith (GK), Asish Rai, Mehtab Singh, Rahul Bheke, Abhishek Singh, Deepak Tangri, Anirudh Thapa, Sahal Abdul Samad, Dejan Drazic, Kiyan Nassiri and Manvir Singh. CISF Protectors’ listed players include Raj Kumar (GK), Ankit Kumar, Karamjeet Singh, Rahul Aswal, Bebetto, Damanpreet, T. Haokip, Bhola Singh, Gurpal Singh, Rajdeep Singh and Jacob C; the Protectors are expected to have the same squad available as in their prior matches.

The match kicks off at 4:00 PM IST and will be shown live on Sony Ten 2, with streaming available on SonyLIV.
