Mohun Bagan SG v Punjab FC: confirmed lineups and pre-match updates for ISL 2026-27

Mohun Bagan SG will host Punjab FC at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Saturday, 31 October 2026, in an Indian Super League 2026-27 fixture. Confirmed lineups and pre-match updates have been released ahead of the scheduled 7:30 PM IST kick-off.

Both sides enter the match having won two of their three league games so far; Punjab FC drew their remaining match while Mohun Bagan began the campaign with a 1-0 defeat to NorthEast United FC. The Mariners have since recorded back-to-back victories and are aiming to build momentum, though recent displays have not always been convincing. Panagiotis Dilmperis faces the task of improving the team’s attacking play while prioritising continued wins, and he will urge his players to be proactive and energetic, particularly against his former employers.

Punjab FC have picked up seven points from a possible nine so far and have shown resilience, rescuing results in difficult situations while producing attacking football. Pavlos Dermitzakis is doing a pretty good job as Panagiotis’ successor, making his Punjab FC players produce some efficient attacking football and be able to carve out results really well. Dermitzakis will encourage his side to remain proactive in attack and to tighten their defensive shape compared with recent matches.

Panagiotis Dilmperis is facing some notable injury issues in his squad, with the likes of Jamie Maclaren, Miguel Figueira and Lalengmawia Ralte’s participation all under question in this clash. Rishikanta Meitei and Diego Raposo are doubtful for Punjab FC ahead of this clash.

Match indicators listed ahead of kick-off show Mohun Bagan wins – 5; Punjab FC wins – 0. Mohun Bagan’s confirmed XI is Vishal Kaith (GK), Mehtab Singh, Rahul Bheke, Alberto Rodriguez, Abhishek Singh, Deepak Tangri, Anirudh Thapa, Samir Zeljkovic, Manvir Singh, Dejan Drazic and Lee Erwin. Punjab FC’s confirmed XI is Arshdeep Singh (GK), Khaimingtham Lhungdim, Bijoy Varghese, Nikhil Prabhu, Muhammed Uvais, Ricky Shabong, Bishu Sharma, Manglenthang Kipgen, Alfred Planas, Sanathoi Singh and Raphaël Messi Bouli.

A victory for Mohun Bagan would bolster confidence around their title push, while a draw or defeat could see them fall further behind the top of the table. Conversely, a win for Punjab FC at the Salt Lake Stadium would provide a significant morale boost and help reinforce their credentials as title challengers, though a loss would be a setback for those ambitions.

The Mohun Bagan vs Punjab FC clash will take place at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata on Saturday, 31 October (2026), kicking off at 7:30 PM IST, and will be shown live on Sony Ten 2 with streams on Sony LIV and YouTube (for free).
