Mohun Bagan to open ISL 2026-27 Phase 1 at Sarusajai on October 12

Mohun Bagan will begin the Phase 1 schedule of the 2026-27 Indian Super League with an away match against NorthEast United FC at the Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati on 12 October 2026. The fixture list arrives as Mohun Bagan prepare under new boss Panagiotis Dilmperis and pursue a return to the summit after losing the 2025-26 ISL title to East Bengal on inferior goal difference. Home fixtures are delayed by Durga Puja festivities in Kolkata, so the Mariners’ first home game is scheduled for 26 October 2026. The 2026-27 ISL will revert to a double round-robin format in which each team plays opponents home and away, meaning 24 league matches per side and a full league phase ahead of the playoffs.

Mohun Bagan’s final match in Phase 1 is scheduled at home against Kerala Blasters on 10 January 2027, which is also the club’s first match of the new year under the published schedule. The Phase 1 timetable sets the team’s fixtures through the winter pause and into January.
