WWE’s Money in the Bank 2026 takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and will feature Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight. The card also includes the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches and a Women’s World Championship Triple Threat between Stephanie Vaquer, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan.

WWE’s Premium Live Event calendar returns with Money in the Bank 2026, the first edition to be held in October and the first to follow SummerSlam. Both the men’s and women’s ladder matches will award briefcases that guarantee a championship opportunity of the winner’s choosing within the following year. The card pairs those ladder stipulations with multiple title matches and several high-profile singles encounters.

The World Heavyweight Championship match grew out of a rivalry intensified during WWE’s Mexico City show, when LA Knight interrupted Roman Reigns after Reigns’ successful title defense against Penta and delivered a BFT. Reigns accepted Knight’s challenge for Money in the Bank, setting up a clash that the promotion frames as a contrast of styles: Reigns’ physical, methodical approach versus Knight’s explosive offense and crowd-driven momentum. WWE’s coverage has suggested the outcome could reshape the main-event landscape for the final months of 2026.

The men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match features Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Penta, CM Punk and Kevin Owens. The six-man lineup mixes established main-event names with younger competitors seeking breakthroughs, and the winner will receive a briefcase that grants a title opportunity within a year. The match combines multiple in-ring styles and the briefcase remains one of WWE’s most valuable prizes.

The women’s ladder match will see Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton compete for the briefcase. The preview notes Ruca’s athleticism and Vice’s combat-sports background as differing advantages, while Jacy Jayne and Roxanne Perez bring experience in high-pressure situations and Lash Legend adds notable strength. Tiffany Stratton is listed as a former champion in the field, and several observers cited Roxanne Perez as a favored candidate even as the contest is described as unpredictable.

A heavyweight singles match is scheduled between Oba Femi and Bronson Reed after a storyline in which Reed returned and targeted Femi during Femi’s confrontation with Bron Breakker. WWE has confirmed the one-on-one bout for Money in the Bank, with promotion material indicating the encounter will centre on power: Femi’s strength and explosive offense against Reed’s size, experience and trademark Tsunami.

The Women’s World Championship was made a Triple Threat when Stephanie Vaquer demanded Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan be added after Lynch and Morgan’s No. 1 contender match ended in disqualification. Vaquer became involved following interference from Judgment Day members Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, and WWE officially announced the Triple Threat for Money in the Bank.
