Napoli v Lazio: confirmed lineups and pre-match updates for Serie A matchweek 11

SSC Napoli will face SS Lazio at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in matchweek 11 of the Serie A 2026-27 campaign. Confirmed starting lineups and pre-match updates have been released ahead of the fixture.

Napoli arrive on a two-match losing run after a 1-4 defeat to FC Porto in the Champions League and a subsequent loss to Juventus in their last Italian top-division outing. The hosts have recorded four wins from their first 10 league matches and occupy 10th place in the Serie A standings. They will be at home for this fixture but remain under pressure given their recent results. SS Lazio have won nine of their opening 10 Serie A matches, sit top of the table and are managed by Gennaro Gattuso. The visitors have won all of their away league games this season and have conceded only three goals in those matches.

Scott McTominay is expected to play a crucial role for Napoli, contributing both in midfield and further forward. The 29-year-old Scottish midfielder was the sole goalscorer in their 1-4 loss against Porto in the Champions League. He will be looking to step up his performances to help Napoli return to winning ways in the Italian top division.

For Lazio, a 25-year-old has registered five goal contributions in the last five matches for the club. Gustav Isaksen has scored 4 goals and provided an assist in 10 Serie A matches this season. With his current run of form, he is going to be a constant threat to the opponent’s defence.

The Massimiliano Allegri-led team will be eager to get back to winning ways, but the upcoming contest is going to be a tough one for them. SS Lazio will only be looking to extend their positive run, with the Eagles eager for another win to retain the top spot. Despite being away from home, Lazio enter the match with confidence.
