Natalia Arroyo sacked as Aston Villa Women sit second-bottom of WSL

Aston Villa have sacked their women’s manager Natalia Arroyo on 29 September 2026, with the club second-bottom of the Women’s Super League.

Villa have two points from their first four league matches.

Arroyo was appointed in January 2025 and guided Villa to safety before finishing ninth in her first full campaign. That season ended with four straight defeats and the poor form has continued.
