Nintendo will release The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. The publisher says the rollout will follow regional launch timing rather than a single simultaneous global unlock.

The remake will feature enhanced modern visuals, gameplay improvements and a new, refreshed soundtrack. Nintendo has issued new footage accompanying the announcement, attached as pic.twitter.com/0LCwquPiIF. There will be no early access for the title and a physical edition will be produced on cartridge.

Launch timing differs by territory: the game is scheduled to unlock at midnight local time in most regions. On the U.S. West Coast the title becomes available at 9:00 PM PT on November 4. The staggered schedule applies to the Switch 2 exclusive release.

Two distribution formats will be offered: a Digital Edition priced at $59.99 or £49.99 and a physical version priced at $69.99 or £58.99. The publisher confirmed consumers purchasing the retail copy will receive the game on cartridge. No other pricing or edition variants are listed.

Khel Now noted the remake is arriving two weeks before GTA 6, which is due on November 19, 2026. That scheduling places the Zelda release ahead of the November blockbuster launch window cited in the announcement.
