Nippon Paint named ISL’s Official Paint Partner in two-year, ₹3.8 crore deal

Nippon Paint has been appointed the Indian Super League’s Official Paint Partner under a two-year agreement worth approximately ₹3.8 crore, the league and the company announced on October 23, 2026.
The arrangement is structured as a two-year deal valued at roughly ₹3.8 crore in total, divided as ₹1.8 crore and ₹2 crore, and covers the upcoming ISL seasons. The association extends to 11 ISL clubs: Chennaiyin FC, Churchill Brothers FC, East Bengal FC, FC Goa, Inter Kashi FC, Kerala Blasters FC, Mumbai City FC, NorthEast United FC, Odisha FC, Punjab FC and Sporting Club Delhi; Mohun Bagan SG and Bengaluru FC are not included because they already have their own paint partners. It is also understood that having a Kolkata (Bengali) club included was critical to finalising the agreement between the league and Nippon Paint.
Nippon Paint’s partnership with the ISL builds on its existing sports marketing activity in India, where the company has engaged across cricket, football, kabaddi, volleyball and international sporting events. The company stated the tie-up provides opportunities to engage sports audiences and connect with fans through properties with regional and national followings. The ISL deal was described as a continuation of Nippon Paint’s approach to creating brand experiences around sporting competitions.
Mark Titus, President – Decorative Coatings Business, Nippon Paint India said “Our association with the MG ISL reflects our commitment to building meaningful connections with consumers through sport. The passion, energy and competitive spirit of football resonate strongly with the spirit of Nippon Paint India. Football brings together diverse communities through a shared love for the game, making it a powerful platform to engage with fans across the country. We look forward to being part of the ISL journey and celebrating the energy, passion and possibilities that the game inspires.”
Karan Yadav, CEO, Indian Super League, said, “We are pleased to welcome Nippon Paint as the Official Paint Partner of the Indian Super League through this multi-year partnership. As we continue to build the league and strengthen its commercial ecosystem, partnerships with leading brands are integral to our growth. This association will enable us to explore new avenues for fan engagement and create greater value for our stakeholders, while bringing Nippon Paint closer to the passion and reach of Indian football.”
The two-year partnership will see Nippon Paint serve as the ISL’s Official Paint Partner for the upcoming seasons covered by the contract, giving the company commercial and fan-engagement opportunities across the participating clubs included in the deal.
