Not an easy task to coach India, says Kyle Mills

Former New Zealand bowler Kyle Mills said in a Times of India article published on November 7, 2026 that it was not an easy task to be coach of the Indian cricket team as the side underwent a transition under coach Gautam Gambhir.

Mills commended Gautam Gambhir's tactical approach and acknowledged the scrutiny faced by the Indian team.

He said India were maintaining stability in the ODI format with senior players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma playing crucial roles, and added that New Zealand's cricket had improved significantly with upgraded infrastructure and a rich talent pool.
